Numenon Release Notes - September 2025 - Nothing Matters, But You Can Comment on It

You might still be lying on a beach right now. You might be listening to the sound of the waves, thinking this is the life, trying to ignore the sense of something missing, an obscure gap at the centre of your being. It could be the innate meaninglessness of existence. Or, it could just be that you missed us.

Whether you're in a city that burns your soul, day by day, night by night, like a withering candlestick, or lying on that illusion-of-an-oasis beach, we are here for you with a Numenon release like you've never seen before.

The final piece of the puzzle, the feature you have been craving, the thing that brings it all together: Comments.

Yes, you can now tell someone their grammar sucks, without touching the original text or making that awkward feedback call.

What's new

Comments.
Did we mention that before? Repetition is essential to some people. Repetition is essential to some people.

Title font is back to normal.
Yes, we messed with it. Yes, it was a mistake. If you’re on Linux or Windows, you already know how bad it was. Consider the suffering over. If, against all odds, you liked the old disaster, drop us a line. We will ignore you, but you'll get that sweet joy of contribution, and we’ll pretend someone finally noticed our typography tantrums.

Sidebar redesign.
Now, this is proof that we actually do take your feedback into account. You will no longer wonder how to create a new entry. Or how you can find all your entries. Or struggle to read a truncated entry title. Or wonder whether your cat is plotting to kill you. She is. But hey, life is so much simpler now with the new sidebar. Enjoy it while you have it.

Our drag and drop experience is now improved.
You can reorder your entry fields, your dropdown's options, your images, your collection items. You could do that before, actually, but it wasn't as much fun as it's going to be now. Go crazy. Or don't. Someone has to keep an eye on that cat.

You can see if you have unread notifications from your space switcher now.
Fewer clicks, more knowledge. Making your life a little easier. It's the little things, right?

Changelog (Minor improvements / bug fixing)

  • We fixed the alignment of the entry icons with the title.
  • The entry icons are no longer cropped on Linux OSs.
  • Inline SVGs are now functioning correctly.
  • We improved the speed of notifications.
  • You can now upload .docx files.
  • The sorting on dynamic lists was updated to correctly allow sorting by dropdown fields' selected options.
